Rooftop solar panels lose efficiency fast when dust, pollen, bird droppings and hard-water film build up on the glass — often 15-25% of potential output, invisible until you compare a power bill against last spring. Our mobile crew brings a soft-bristle, non-abrasive brush system paired with a deionized water rig: because the water carries no minerals, it sheets off the panel surface without leaving streaks or spots, so there is no risk of scratching the anti-reflective coating the way a garden hose and dish soap would.

Before we touch a single panel we walk the array and log a baseline reading from the inverter or monitoring app, then repeat the reading once the wash is finished so you see the before/after energy gain in real numbers, not a sales pitch. While the water is running we do a close visual pass over every panel: hairline cracks in the tempered glass, discoloration or bubbling that points to a developing hot spot, corroded junction boxes, loose mounting clips and chewed wiring from birds or squirrels. Anything concerning gets photographed and marked on a simple roof diagram you keep.

Roof safety is not an afterthought — the crew works with harnesses and anchor points or a stabilized ladder setup depending on your pitch, and we never walk on the panels themselves, only the rails and roof deck rated for foot traffic. A typical single-family roof with 20-30 panels takes about two to three hours door to door, and we schedule around weather so the cleaning finish is not undone by a rainstorm the same afternoon.
