Service description
I transform an ordinary mailbox — metal or wooden — into a small work of art at your doorstep. I work with both already-installed mailboxes and new blanks that you provide, using exterior-grade acrylic paints resistant to sun, rain, frost, and daily wear: the design stays vibrant and doesn't peel for years.

Each project begins with a brief conversation about the home's style, façade colors, window trim, and the mood you want to greet guests with at your gate. First I sketch the composition — only after your approval do I pick up the brush, so early revisions are easy and painless. Most often clients order large house numbers and street names in different fonts, floral motifs with wildflowers and roses, coastal landscapes with birds and waves, forest scenes with foxes or deer, and seasonal variations — snowy evergreens in winter, sunflowers in summer, maple leaves in autumn.

I match colors on-site against your door, shutters, or brick to ensure the finished mailbox looks like part of the exterior, not a random detail. Once the painting and base coat are complete, I coat the entire surface with clear protective outdoor varnish — it preserves image sharpness in any weather and makes maintenance easy: just wipe with a damp cloth.

Turnaround is usually one to two weeks depending on design complexity and the number of layers needing full drying between stages; rush orders are available if needed. I package the finished mailbox carefully and ship it, and for local clients I deliver in person and briefly explain how to care for the painting so it stays beautiful for many seasons.
