About the service
For fifteen years I've been taking apart and assembling small engines, and every autumn I see the same picture: a snow blower sitting in the shed since March, old fuel dried in the carburetor, belts cracked from dryness, and the first major snowfall catches the owner with a shovel in hand and dead equipment in the garage corner. I offer a simpler solution than towing the machine to a repair shop and waiting a week in line: I come to you with a full set of tools and perform the service right in your yard or garage.
Mobile servicing includes everything a snow blower needs to work reliably all winter: draining old fuel and refilling with fresh, cleaning or overhauling the carburetor, checking and adjusting spark plug gap, inspecting drive belt and auger belt for wear, lubricating the auger shaft and snow discharge mechanism, checking starter and ignition system under load. If I find an actual breakdown, not just accumulated wear — a sheared shear pin, a crack in the auger housing, a stuck wheel — I diagnose it on the spot and name the repair cost in advance, with no surprises at the end of the visit.
I work with practically all common brands — Toro, Ariens, Honda, Craftsman, Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, and other models that typically sit in private garages — and I carry consumables and popular spare parts with me, so most visits are completed in one trip. If you book ahead, before the first frost, you get a convenient time slot instead of a rush when everyone suddenly remembers their snow blower.
What's included in the visit:
— Fuel system drain, flush, and refill with fresh fuel
— Carburetor cleaning or overhaul if needed
— Spark plug inspection, gap adjustment, or replacement
— Belt and auger inspection, lubrication, and snow discharge mechanism check
— Starter, ignition, and safety switch testing
— On-site diagnostics and preliminary estimate for parts replacement
