Project description
I own a golf cart that I use around my community and on the course, and it badly needs professional attention. I am looking for a mobile technician who can come to my property with all the necessary equipment and handle two things in one visit: a full exterior and interior detailing, and a battery pack inspection with service or replacement if needed.
For the detailing side, the cart needs a thorough wash of the body panels, wheels and undercarriage, clay bar treatment if required, polishing of the fiberglass or plastic body to remove oxidation and scuffs, and a protective wax or sealant. The seats, dash and floor mats need deep cleaning as well — there is some mildew smell and dirt buildup from being stored outdoors under a carport. Trim and plastic parts have faded and could use a restorer.
On the battery side, the cart has noticeably weaker range than it used to, and I suspect one or more cells in the battery bank are failing. I need someone to test each battery individually, check the water levels if they are flooded lead-acid units, clean the terminals and connectors, and advise honestly whether the pack can be reconditioned or whether a full replacement is the smarter option. If replacement is recommended, please quote the cost of parts separately from labor.
I expect the freelancer to bring their own detailing supplies, a battery tester or multimeter, and any tools needed for terminal cleaning or battery swaps. Experience with golf carts specifically (not just cars) is important, since the electrical systems and body materials are different. Please share examples of past golf cart work if you have them, along with your typical turnaround time.
