Service description
Before the New Year, everyone looks for a gift that won't get lost among dozens of identical cards and gift sets. I hand-paint Christmas tree ornaments — each one is made individually for a specific person: with their name, wedding date, a family portrait or favorite pet, a winter landscape, or a scene from family history.

I work with glass and wooden blanks — I'll advise which works best for your idea. Glass allows fine detail and a light shimmer, works beautifully with calligraphy or a miniature house. Wood has a warmer, cozier texture, holds portraits of people and animals beautifully, and these ornaments are sturdier for shipping and can handle children's hands. I seal each piece with protective varnish so the paint won't chip or fade during a year of storage in a box.

We start with a brief discussion: you send a photo for the portrait, the exact spelling of the name, a date, or just an idea — a winter cottage, a sailboat, a nutcracker soldier. First I create a design sketch and send it for approval — I only pick up the brush after you say "yes." Then I paint with acrylic colors for decorative surfaces, detail small elements with a fine brush, seal with varnish, and add a loop or ribbon — the ornament is ready to hang on the tree.

Production usually takes one to two weeks, depending on drawing complexity and the number of ornaments in the order — I often make sets of five, ten, or more for family gift exchanges, corporate holiday gifts, or wedding favors. Closer to the holidays I sometimes can take a rush order — just ask.

What you get: a fully hand-painted ornament (not a sticker or print), a design sketch for approval before I start, careful packaging that arrives intact, and a gift that truly stays on the tree year after year rather than being tucked away in a drawer. If you have a photo, name, or just an idea — send it over, and together we'll turn it into an ornament people will really want to unwrap.
