Service description
I offer mobile maintenance services for private pools and hot tubs — I come to your location with my own equipment and handle all the routine work so you simply enjoy clean water. Let me clarify an important point right away: I don't build or install new pools. If you need a pit excavated and a permanent pool installed on your property — that's a completely different specialty. My work is maintaining an already existing pool or spa: keeping the water clean, balanced, and safe, whether it was installed a year ago or twenty years ago.
A typical visit includes collecting leaves and debris from the water surface, scrubbing walls and tile line with a brush, vacuuming the floor, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, backwashing or cleaning the filter if needed, and inspecting the pump group for unusual noises and leaks. I test the water right on site — chlorine or bromine level, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer — and immediately adjust the chemistry rather than leaving you with a report saying "do it yourself." For hot tubs I additionally check water for cloudiness and odor, perform shock treatment if needed, and inspect jets, filter, and cover to ensure the system runs smoothly between visits.
Most of my clients work with me on a regular schedule — weekly or bi-weekly — because continuous chemical monitoring prevents algae bloom, cloudiness, limescale buildup, and equipment corrosion — problems that are always more expensive to fix than prevent. I also take one-time seasonal orders: spring pool opening, winter shutdown, deep cleaning before a holiday, or recovery of a neglected "green" pool to a swimmable condition. I bring my own test kit, brushes, nets, vacuum, and pool-safe chemicals — you don't need to buy or store anything at home.
I've worked with various types of pools and spas — from simple above-ground structures to large pools with attached hot tubs, and I know how to handle saltwater electrolysis systems, gas water heaters, and automatic covers. I always leave the equipment area in order, record water chemistry readings after each visit, and honestly tell you if a problem requires calling a service technician rather than trying to fix mechanics myself.
