Restoration and Releading of a Cracked Stained-Glass Window

We own a house built in the early 1900s, and one of the original stained-glass windows in the front parlor has deteriorated badly over the decades. The lead came has bowed outward in several places, three glass pieces are cracked straight through, and one small section near the bottom border is missing entirely. The window is still in its original wooden frame, and we want to keep as much of the historic fabric as possible rather than replace the whole thing with something new.

We are looking for a glass artisan with genuine experience in traditional leaded and stained glass restoration, not just fabrication of new decorative panels. The work will involve carefully removing the window from the frame, disassembling only the damaged sections, releading the loose and bowed came with an appropriately sized profile, sourcing and installing replacement glass for the cracked and missing pieces that closely matches the original in color, texture and thickness, and then resetting the finished panel back into the frame with proper weatherproofing. We would like to see photographs of similar restoration work you have completed before, and a short explanation of how you source or reproduce antique glass when an exact match is no longer manufactured.

This window is part of the house's original character, and we want it treated with care rather than rushed through.
