Project description
We are a mid-sized company building an internal ethics and compliance function, and we need a confidential whistleblowing platform that our employees, contractors and partners can trust. The core requirement is a truly anonymous reporting channel: a person must be able to submit a concern about misconduct, fraud, harassment or safety violations without revealing their identity, and without us ever being able to trace their device or address. Each submitted report should generate a unique case reference and an access code, so the reporter can return later, check the status of their case and continue the conversation while staying anonymous.
Beyond intake, we need proper case management. Reports must land in a triage queue where a small group of authorized officers can classify severity, assign categories, route the matter to the right reviewer and record every action in a tamper-evident audit log. We want secure two-way messaging so an investigator can ask the reporter clarifying questions and receive answers through the same protected thread, without email or any external channel. Access must be strictly role-based, sensitive cases should be isolated so that named individuals cannot see reports about themselves, and all data must be encrypted at rest and in transit.
Finally, we need an investigation workflow with stages, deadlines, evidence attachments and outcome recording, plus compliance reporting: dashboards and exportable summaries showing case volumes, categories, resolution times and overdue items for our board and auditors.
