BondTrack

BondTrack is a specialized web application for a bail bond agency that manages the entire lifecycle of bail: from the first call from custody to final release of obligation. The intake module records the defendant, arrest registration number, county jail, charges and bail amount, then calculates the agency premium and required first payment. Each bond opens a case file that stores co-signer bail agents, their contact and employment data, plus collateral pledged under the bond, whether cash, vehicle title, or real estate lien, with a current collateral ledger reflecting every block and release. The court calendar links each case to scheduled hearings, and the reminder engine sends the defendant and each co-signer SMS and email notifications before the court date, since failure to appear is what turns a bond into a forfeiture. Payment plans allow the premium to be split into installments, track cash and card payments, mark delinquencies, and print receipts. The control panel is the heart of daily work: it shows who missed a scheduled check-in, whose hearing is approaching, who is behind on payments, and which bonds face forfeiture threat, so the skip tracer can act before escape becomes a loss. Role-based access divides defendant, office clerk, and skip tracer, and every action is logged in an audit journal for the insurer and court.
