Project description
We run three self-service laundromats and want one web application that ties them together. The heart of it is a live machine availability map: each washer and dryer shows as free, running with minutes remaining, out of order, or in a cool-down period, refreshed from the coin-and-card controllers we already have wired to a small on-site gateway. A customer opens the site on a phone, scans the QR code on a machine or taps it on the map, and starts and pays for that exact washer or dryer without touching a kiosk. Payments go through a card processor and a stored balance wallet, so regulars can top up once and start machines in two taps. Alongside the self-service flow we need a wash-and-fold order intake: the customer picks weight tier or item counts, chooses drop-off or pickup, selects detergent and folding preferences, and gets a price estimate before confirming. Staff see these orders in a simple back office where they weigh, tag, photograph, and move each bag through stages. Loyalty is points per dollar plus a free-wash-after-ten stamp card, with promo codes for slow hours. When a cycle finishes the system fires an SMS cycle-done alert through a gateway, and a second nudge if the load sits too long. Deliverables: responsive front end, admin and staff panels, the gateway integration contract for the machine controllers, card and wallet payments, SMS notifications, loyalty engine, and reporting on machine utilization and revenue per location. Please include seed data and clear setup notes.
