Project description
We run a small tattoo studio and want a proper booking app built around how tattoo work actually happens, not a generic calendar bolted onto a website. The core of it is the artists. Each artist needs a public portfolio page with a gallery of healed work, their style tags, hourly or piece pricing, and a schedule that clients can actually see. When someone finds an artist they like, they should be able to request a free consultation or book a paid session directly against that artist's availability, choosing between a small flash piece and a longer custom project that may span several sittings.
The money side matters to us because no-shows cost real chair time. Every session booking should take a deposit up front that is credited against the final price, with clear rules for rescheduling and forfeiting so both the client and the artist know where they stand. During booking and consultation the client should be able to attach reference images, their own sketches, and notes about placement, size and desired style, so the artist walks into the appointment already knowing what is being asked. We also want the app to send aftercare reminders automatically after a session, with a short healing schedule and washing and moisturising tips, plus a nudge to book any touch-up that is included.
We are open to web plus a mobile-friendly interface; native apps are a bonus, not a requirement for the first version. Please propose your stack, show relevant work, and give a realistic timeline. Ongoing tweaks are likely once we are live.
