Project description
We operate a small family-owned funeral home and want a dedicated management application built around how our work actually flows. Every engagement begins as a case: a family reaches out, we open a record, and from that moment there is a great deal to coordinate quietly and precisely. We need software that lets us capture the intake details in one place, guide the family through choosing a service and package, and keep every arrangement, appointment and document connected to the same case file, so nothing is repeated or lost at a time when families deserve our full attention.
The application should center on funeral cases rather than generic tickets or sales leads. From a case we want to build the service arrangements, select from configurable packages and add-on items, schedule the viewing, ceremony and committal, and assign the staff, vehicles and rooms required for each event without double-booking. Document and registry handling matters too: intake forms, permits, certificates and consent paperwork should attach to the case, with clear status so we always know what is still outstanding. Family communications belong here as well, so that updates, confirmations and reminders are logged against the case and every team member sees the same history.
We are not looking for a repurposed CRM or an event-venue booking tool. The tone and structure must fit a funeral setting: calm, discreet, and built for the specific tasks of arranging and delivering services with care.
