Project description
We are looking for an experienced Unity developer to build an interactive virtual-reality training simulation for our staff. The goal is a realistic scenario that teaches safety procedures and correct handling of equipment, so that new employees can practice risky operations in a fully safe virtual environment before they ever touch the real machinery. The experience must run smoothly as a standalone build on modern mobile VR headsets, without a tethered PC, and it should feel intuitive even for people who have never worn a headset before.
The simulation needs a guided, multi-step scenario: the trainee moves through a workspace, identifies hazards, follows the correct sequence of actions, and reacts to events we script together. Every action should be tracked and turned into a score, so we can measure how accurately and how quickly each person completes the task. We also want a clear review mode for the instructor, where a supervisor can replay a session, see the mistakes and give structured feedback afterwards. Localization into English and Russian and a clean, readable in-headset UI are important to us.
Please share previous VR or Unity projects, ideally something involving training or simulation. Tell us which headsets you have tested on and how you would approach the scoring and instructor review parts.
— Standalone Unity build for mobile VR headsets, no PC required
— Multi-step interactive scenario with scripted hazards and events
— Automatic scoring of accuracy, sequence and completion time
— Instructor review mode: session replay, mistakes, feedback
— English and Russian localization, comfortable in-headset UI
