Simultaneous interpreting for webinars and conferences

I am a professional simultaneous interpreter and I help run webinars, online conferences and business meetings in several languages. For long events I work in a pair with a colleague so that the quality of interpreting does not drop by the end of the day. I always prepare in advance: I study the agenda, the speakers' slides, any glossaries and the industry terminology, then I compile a bilingual list of key terms and agree it with the client — this removes most errors before we even go live. During the event I provide real-time simultaneous interpreting: I listen to the speaker and speak in the audience's language at the same time, a few seconds behind, preserving the meaning, tone and pace. I am comfortable with the popular conferencing platforms that offer language channels, and when needed I can connect through professional equipment or a remote interpreting booth. Beyond the interpreting itself, I take care of a technical sound rehearsal, a connection check with the speakers and support throughout the whole broadcast. For short formats and question-and-answer sessions I switch to consecutive interpreting if that suits the audience better. I guarantee confidentiality of all materials and punctuality.
