I produce subtitles for training videos end to end and take on the whole path from the audio to the finished file. First I transcribe the speech carefully, working out terms and names so that nothing is lost. Then I translate the text into living, clear language, preserving the meaning, the tone and the instructor's style rather than dropping in a machine word-for-word line. I treat timing as a separate craft: I fit each cue to the frame, break long sentences into readable lines, and hold a comfortable reading speed with pauses so the viewer can both watch and understand. After that I proofread everything for typos, consistent terminology and punctuation, and I check numbers, units and the spelling of names. I deliver the finished subtitles in the format you need, SRT, VTT or burned into the video, together with a single glossary and a short style note so the next episodes look the same. I work with courses, webinars, manuals and onboarding clips, and I can format subtitles for people who are hard of hearing, marking the speaker and important sounds.
