Project description
We are planning a permanent outdoor kitchen on our back patio and need an experienced builder to design and install the full station in one continuous build. The core piece is a built-in BBQ island roughly 8 feet long by 30 inches deep, framed with concrete block or steel studs (your recommendation) and finished with a stacked-stone or stucco veneer that will match the house siding. Inside the island we need a cutout sized for a 32-inch built-in gas grill head we already own, plus a side burner module and a drop-in cooler or refrigerator bay with proper ventilation panels so heat does not build up around the compressor.

Countertop should be either poured concrete, granite, or porcelain slab — please quote at least two options with pros and cons for our humid coastal climate. We also want two lower cabinets with stainless doors for propane tank and utensil storage, a trash pull-out, and open shelving on one end for firewood. Utility work includes running a gas line from the meter to the grill (natural gas preferred over propane tank swaps), a 20-amp weatherproof outlet for the fridge, and a hose bib nearby for a future sink.

Site is a existing paver patio; footing and slab prep for the island base is part of scope. Please include a rough timeline broken into demo/footing, block-and-frame, veneer and countertop, and utility hookup phases, along with a materials list and whether permits are needed for the gas line in our area. Photos of at least three prior built-in grill islands with masonry or stucco finishes are required before we schedule a site visit.
