Rain Barrel and Rainwater Harvesting System Installation Service

I plan and install complete rainwater harvesting setups, from a single rain barrel under one downspout to a multi-barrel bank feeding a garden irrigation line. The service starts with a short site visit: I measure the roof catchment area, check gutter condition, and figure out which downspouts carry the most volume during a normal storm, so the barrels go where they will actually fill instead of sitting half empty all season.

Every barrel gets a proper downspout diversion kit cut into the existing gutter run — no loose hoses balanced on bricks. I fit a screened inlet to keep leaves and debris out, and mosquito-proof mesh over every opening so the system never turns into a breeding spot between rains. Overflow is routed through its own dedicated pipe, angled away from the foundation toward a splash block, dry well, or existing drain, so a heavy downpour never backs up against the house wall.

Platforms are built to match the site: pressure-treated lumber frames, concrete paver bases, or compact cinder-block stands, each rated for a full barrel of water and leveled so the spigot sits at a height that is actually usable with a watering can or hose. I can add a linking kit to connect two or three barrels in series, a first-flush diverter for cleaner water, and a shutoff valve ahead of the overflow line.

Typical turnaround is one to two days on site depending on the number of barrels and the length of overflow piping, plus a short walkthrough on cleaning the screens and winterizing the system before the first frost.
