Project description
I am furnishing a new dining room and want a one-of-a-kind ceramic dinnerware set instead of anything mass-produced. The set should include six dinner plates, six side plates, and six bowls, all wheel-thrown or slip-cast with a consistent shape and weight so they nest and stack neatly in a cabinet. I have a color scheme built around a specific glaze: a warm, matte celadon green on the inside surfaces with a raw, unglazed stoneware rim on the outside edge, giving each piece a rustic-meets-modern look.
Beyond the base glaze, I would like a simple hand-carved or sgraffito line pattern near the rim of each plate, something organic like wavy lines or leaf silhouettes, repeated consistently across all pieces so the set feels cohesive rather than randomly decorated. I am open to your suggestions on the exact technique as long as the final look matches the reference photos I will share once we agree on scope. The pieces need to be food-safe, microwave and dishwasher safe, and durable enough for everyday family use, not purely decorative.
I would like to see a sketch or a sample tile with the proposed glaze color before full production begins, and I need the finished set delivered within the agreed timeframe, carefully packed to survive shipping without chips or cracks.
