Project description
I run a small coffee shop and I need a custom die-cut vinyl decal designed for my storefront window, plus matching versions I can also use on take-out cups and a laptop sticker for my own laptop. The main idea is a friendly cartoon coffee cup character with steam shaped like a wave, holding a little flag with my shop's initials, done in a bold flat-illustration style with thick outlines so it reads well from across the street.
The decal needs to be a proper die-cut shape (not a simple rectangle or circle) that follows the contour of the illustration closely, with no background at all — just the character and a couple of small floating elements like coffee beans. I'd like two color variants: one full-color version for the window and cups, and one single-color version (black or white) for situations where only one spot color is available. Please plan for outdoor durability: window decals get direct sun for hours a day, so the color choice and finish should hold up without fading or peeling within the first year.
I can share my shop's logo, a rough photo reference of the mascot pose I like from another cafe (for inspiration only, not to copy), and my brand colors. I'm open to two or three initial concept sketches before we commit to a direction, and I'd like the chance to request reasonable size and detail adjustments once I see the first color mock-up. Final files should be delivered print-ready and separated by size use case.
What I need delivered:
— Vector source file (AI or EPS) with the design built in layers
— Print-ready PDF sized for a storefront window decal and for a smaller cup/laptop sticker
— Both full-color and single-color versions of the die-cut path
