Project description
I am currently updating my resume and LinkedIn profile and need a set of professional, high-quality headshot photos that reflect a polished and approachable image. My current photos are outdated, taken on a phone, or simply do not look professional enough for the corporate and freelance clients I am trying to reach. I want to look confident, approachable, and current in my industry, without the shots feeling stiff or overly staged.
I am open to either a studio session or an outdoor session with natural light, whichever the photographer feels will produce the strongest results for a business portrait. I do not have my own studio or lighting equipment, so I would appreciate guidance on wardrobe, posing, and background choices from someone who shoots this kind of portrait regularly. The session should be efficient, ideally completed within one to two hours, since I know professional headshots do not require a long shoot when done well.
Please include a portfolio of previous headshot work when you apply, along with your typical turnaround time for edited photos and how many final images are usually included in a similar package. I would like to review a few finished options before choosing the ones I keep.
Requirements:
— At least 5-8 final retouched images in high resolution
— Both color and black-and-white versions of the best shots
— Light retouching (skin smoothing, blemish removal) that still looks natural
— Files sized and formatted appropriately for LinkedIn and printed resumes
— Session at a convenient location, or a suggested studio at a reasonable cost
