Project description
I'm putting together a new gaming desktop from scratch and I need an experienced technician to guide the whole process, not just hand me a parts list. I have a rough budget and a general idea of the games and creative apps I want to run smoothly (modern AAA titles at 1440p, some video editing on the side), but I don't trust myself to pick a compatible motherboard, PSU wattage, cooling setup, or RAM kit without wasting money on the wrong combination.
Once parts are chosen and delivered, I need the actual physical build done properly: mounting the motherboard and CPU cooler, installing the GPU and storage drives, wiring the power supply cleanly, and routing every cable so the case looks tidy and airflow isn't blocked by a spaghetti of wires. After assembly I need a clean Windows installation, all chipset and GPU drivers updated, BIOS configured sensibly, and then a proper stress test (CPU, GPU, and memory) to confirm the machine is stable under load and temperatures stay in a safe range before I start using it daily.
I can meet in person or work remotely with photos and video calls during the build if needed, and I'm flexible on where the assembly happens as long as I get clear before-and-after documentation of the work. Please only reach out if you've built multiple PCs before and can explain your part choices in plain language.
