Project description
We run a cleaning company that sends technicians directly to a client's home to clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and we need a working cost calculator built into our website. Right now every price request goes through a phone call or a chat message, which slows down sales and loses visitors who just want a rough estimate before booking a visit.
The calculator should let a visitor pick the item type first — sofa, armchair, corner sofa, mattress, or carpet — then, depending on that choice, enter either the number of seating places or the approximate area in square meters. A separate step should ask about the soiling level, because heavily stained upholstery or a carpet after pets needs noticeably more solution and time than a light seasonal clean, and that difference has to show up in the price through a multiplier. Once all fields are filled in, the tool should calculate the final price instantly and show an estimated arrival window for the technician, ideally tied to a simple weekly availability schedule.
The interface should be clean and comfortable on a phone, since most of our visitors come from mobile, and the pricing formula needs to be easy for us to edit later without touching the code.
