Project description
Our blacksmith workshop makes custom forged fences, gates and stair railings, and right now every price quote is calculated by hand after a phone call or a written request. We want an interactive calculator on the website so a visitor gets an instant estimate before contacting us.
The tool should let a customer pick the product type (fence section, gate, wicket, stair railing or balcony grille), enter the length or area, choose the complexity of the forged pattern (simple straight bars, medium ornamental scrollwork, or a fully custom artistic design), and select the metal type and finish (plain steel, stainless steel, powder coating, forging with copper or brass elements). From these inputs the calculator should compute a final price range and a rough production and installation timeframe.
We would like the pricing logic built as editable coefficients or a simple admin table, so our staff can update the base price per meter, complexity multipliers and metal surcharges without touching code whenever material costs change. The result screen should show a short summary of the chosen options and a button that sends the estimate as a lead.
Key requirements:
— responsive layout that works well on mobile
— step-by-step selection: product type, size, pattern complexity, metal, finish
— editable pricing coefficients for the workshop admin
— final price shown as a range plus estimated lead time
— lead capture form tied to the calculated result
