Project description
MazeGate is a web application for a seasonal farm with a corn maze and agritourism that turns hectic autumn weekends into smooth operations with full sessions. A visitor selects a date on the harvest calendar, gets a ticket for a specific session with a live capacity indicator and adds a hayride, access to the pumpkin patch, popcorn vouchers or bonfire area reservation before payment. The order returns a QR ticket that staff at the entrance scan from a tablet; offline registration syncs when the farm Wi-Fi drops out in the far field. The group scenario separately manages birthday parties, corporate events and school field trips: a teacher requests a weekday morning block, the application collects the number of students and list of chaperones, generates an invoice or payment path by contract and fixes a discounted child rate. The weather stop mechanism is the core of autumn logistics: if rain or thunder strikes, the admin puts affected sessions into hold mode, and each ticket holder gets an email and SMS with a reschedule to any free session with one tap, no refund queue. The maze itself is also digital: a guest opens a mobile map with numbered checkpoints and a quiz-hint system, marks answers at stations, completes the route and gets a finish badge. The admin console shows attendance forecast for the day, share of upsells, staff allocation by session and volume of refunds and weather reschedules. The application is made for a phone in muddy boots and covers ticket sales, capacity control, groups and the entire season from the first weekend to the final lantern-lit maze night.
