Project description
FairwayBay is a web application for booking and managing a lounge with golf simulators that operates multiple bays. A guest selects a venue, finds an available bay on an interactive hall map, and books it by the hour or half-hour, with pricing varying based on evening peak hours, weekends, or morning discount hours. Each bay is linked to a launch monitor and simulator computer, so the application opens and closes sessions synchronously with the simulator software: it records the played course, mode (stroke play, closest to pin, longest drive, skills training), players on the mat, stroke count, and average ball speed, then attaches the session summary to the guest's profile and current tab.

League nights are a separate full-featured function. An organizer creates a weekly or seasonal league, sets course rotation and handicap rules, assigns teams to bays, and the application automatically calculates scores based on simulator results and publishes a live leaderboard. Members also have access to coaching: the lesson calendar shows each coach's available slots, assigned bay, lesson duration, and remaining package balance, while deposits and rescheduling windows are controlled automatically.

While a group plays, staff adds food and drinks to the bay tab from a tablet; the tab consolidates bay time, lesson payment, pro shop items, and kitchen orders into a single receipt that can be split among players. Membership tiers (Hands, Club, Tour) unlock bay discounts, priority booking windows, complimentary balls, and included monthly hours. The stack is PHP and MySQL on the server plus a WebSocket layer for broadcasting bay status and Stripe for deposits and saved cards. The admin dashboard displays heat maps of occupancy, revenue per bay, no-show tracking, and simulator uptime in one panel.
