Project description
I am starting a small merch brand and want a print-on-demand store that runs with as little manual work as possible. The idea is simple: a customer places an order, the design gets printed on demand by a fulfillment partner, and the item ships directly to the buyer without me touching any inventory. I already have a rough brand direction and about a dozen design ideas, but I have never set up the technical side, so I am looking for someone who has done this end to end and can make sensible decisions without me micromanaging every step.
The project covers the full setup. You will connect a print provider to my storefront, sync the product range we choose (t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, tote bags, posters and a few accessories), and make sure sizes, colors and price rules are configured correctly. I need clean, realistic product mockups for every listing, the designs prepared at the right resolution and print area for each garment, and a catalog that is organized into logical collections so it does not look like a random pile of items. Just as important is the automation: incoming orders should route to the print partner automatically, tracking numbers should flow back to the customer, and failed or held orders should be visible so nothing quietly disappears.
Before we go live I want a couple of real test orders placed and fulfilled so I can confirm the whole pipeline actually works, from checkout through printing to delivery. Please share examples of POD stores you have launched and tell me which platform and print provider you would recommend for my case and why.
— Connect and configure a print-on-demand provider with the storefront
— Prepare product mockups and print-ready design files per product
— Build and organize the product catalog, variants and pricing
— Automate order routing, fulfillment and tracking updates
— Run live test orders end to end before launch
