Project description
I am launching a dropshipping business and I need an experienced e-commerce specialist to set up the entire store for me from the ground up. I already have a niche picked and a hosting plan chosen, but I have no time to wrestle with the technical side. What I want at the end is a working shop where a customer can browse products, place an order, and have that order flow automatically to the right supplier without me touching anything manually. The store should look trustworthy and modern, load fast on mobile, and be ready to accept real payments the day we go live.
The core of the job is the plumbing behind the storefront. I need supplier and product import configured so catalog items, images, descriptions, and stock levels pull in cleanly and stay in sync. On top of that I want automated order routing, so when a sale happens the order is sent to the correct supplier and the customer gets tracking updates. Pricing must be driven by rules, not manual edits: a markup formula, currency handling, and rounding I can adjust later without breaking anything. Please also wire up a clean checkout, basic email notifications, and an analytics pixel so I can measure conversions.
I care a lot about the storefront actually converting, not just existing. I want a clear homepage, well-structured product pages with obvious buy buttons, trust signals, and a simple mobile-first layout. Tell me what platform you recommend and why. Ideally you have shipped several dropshipping stores before and can show examples. Please walk me through the plan before you start, and hand over short instructions so I can add products and run promotions myself afterwards.
— Supplier and product import with stock and price sync
— Automated order routing and tracking to customers
— Rule-based pricing: markup, currency, rounding
— Converting mobile-first storefront and checkout
— Analytics, email notifications, and a short handover guide
