Project description
Our product team has grown quickly, and along the way our interfaces have drifted out of sync. Buttons, forms, and cards look slightly different from one feature to the next, spacing is inconsistent, and every new mockup tends to start from a blank canvas. We are hiring an experienced product designer to build a single source of truth in Figma: a proper design system that our designers and front-end developers can rely on every day. The goal is speed and consistency — assembling a new screen should mean dragging in ready-made, on-brand components instead of redrawing them each time.
The system must be built on design tokens, so that color, typography, spacing, radius, and elevation values live in one place and can be updated globally. We expect a full library of reusable, variant-based components with Auto Layout, sensible constraints, and clear interactive states, all organized and named so the team can find anything instantly. Just as important is documentation: usage guidelines, do and don't examples, and a hand-off page that maps tokens and components to what developers implement in code. Please share portfolio work with design systems you have shipped and maintained.
— Design tokens for color, typography, spacing, radius, and elevation
— Component library with variants, Auto Layout, and interactive states
— Color and type styles plus a documented, accessible palette
— Usage docs, do/don't examples, and a developer hand-off page
— Clean structure, naming, and a published Figma team library
