Custom Leather Sheath for a Fixed-Blade Hunting Knife

I need a skilled leatherworker to build a custom-fitted sheath for my fixed-blade hunting knife, and I want it made to the knife itself rather than pulled off a generic template. I will send a full-size paper tracing of the blade and handle, plus exact measurements: blade length 5.5 inches, drop-point profile, 1.3 inches wide at the widest point of the guard, and a 4.6-inch handle with a slight palm swell. The pattern should be fitted directly from that tracing so the knife seats snugly and doesn't rattle when the sheath is turned upside down.

Construction should use a welted seam along the spine and belly rather than a simple folded pouch, so the edge never presses against stitching and the welt takes the wear instead of the thread. I'd like 8-9 oz vegetable-tanned leather, wet-molded around the blade profile for a close, low-bulk fit. For retention I'm open to either a snug friction-fit throat with a slight leather overlap at the mouth, or a thin adjustable strap with a snap closure over the guard — whichever the maker judges holds better for this blade shape, with reasoning given before starting.

The belt loop should sit high and angled slightly forward for a comfortable draw while seated, sized for a 1.5-inch belt with a firm, non-slip fit. Finishing should include burnished and beveled edges, a dark brown dye applied evenly with visible grain, and a light topcoat for weather resistance. Stitching in waxed thread, saddle-stitched by hand along visible seams.
