Vertical-Spiral Drone Inspection for Cell Towers & Utility Poles

I provide close-range visual and structural inspection of cellular towers, monopoles, lattice towers, and utility poles using a small commercial drone flown in a tight vertical spiral pattern around the structure from base to tip. This flight geometry keeps every face of the pole or tower in frame at a consistent standoff distance, so nothing on the shaft, cross-arms, antenna mounts, or guy-wire anchors is missed between passes.

Each inspection captures zoomed, high-resolution stills of bolted connections, welded joints, flange plates, grounding straps, and any visible corrosion, cracking, or coating failure, cross-referenced against the structure's elevation so findings can be located precisely on request. I hold current knowledge of controlled-airspace notification procedures, altitude limits near populated infrastructure, and standard notice-to-fly practices for utility and telecom sites, and I coordinate flight timing with site access windows.

Deliverables include a numbered photo set, an annotated defect log describing each finding by height and orientation, and a short written summary flagging items that need prompt attention versus routine monitoring. Typical turnaround from flight to delivered report is three to five business days depending on structure height and number of defects logged. I welcome recurring inspection contracts for portfolios of multiple structures with standardized reporting between cycles.
