Project description
We run a small home-visit service for piano and grand piano tuning, and right now every booking is arranged manually over the phone or in messengers. That takes staff time, and it is easy to double-book a tuner or lose a request in the chat history. We need a booking bot that walks the customer through the whole process on its own and hands us a ready request with all the details we need to send a tuner out.
The bot should start by asking what instrument the client has, an upright piano or a grand piano, and optionally the brand and how long ago it was last tuned. Then it collects the visit address, with room for a short note for the tuner such as floor, entry code, or parking. Next comes a calendar step where the client picks an available date and time slot from the tuners' real schedule. Before finishing, the bot should offer an optional extra diagnostic check (mechanism condition, pitch stability, soundboard and hammers) for instruments that have not been serviced in years, and then let the client pay online or leave a deposit to hold the slot.
What the bot needs to handle:
— Instrument type selection (upright piano / grand piano) with optional brand and last-tuning-date fields
— Visit address input with an optional note field for the tuner (floor, entry code, parking)
— Live calendar showing tuner availability, with date and time slot picker
— Optional add-on for extended diagnostics, priced separately
— Online payment or a deposit by card, with clear cancellation and refund terms
— Automatic booking confirmation plus a reminder 24 hours before the visit
— A simple admin view to see, reschedule, and reassign bookings between tuners
— A mobile-friendly widget we can embed on our current website
