Project description
I need a developer to build an interactive calculator for our website that estimates the cost of custom-made curtains, drapes and blinds. The customer enters the window dimensions (width and height), selects the product type — classic curtains, roller or horizontal blinds, Roman shades — chooses fabric or material from a list, the curtain rod type, and whether installation is needed. Based on these inputs, the calculator should automatically display the total price broken down by line items: fabric, sewing, hardware, curtain rod, and installation.
It's important that the calculation accounts for a fabric consumption multiplier depending on the drape style (for example, one-and-a-half or double fullness), plus the cost of lining, valances and extra elements. The final price must recalculate in real time without reloading the page, and the result should be saved as a lead with the customer's contact details for a manager to follow up. I also need a simple admin panel or settings file to update fabric, rod and service prices without touching the code.

— fabric/material and curtain rod selection from a priced reference list
— automatic real-time price recalculation with a line-item breakdown
— material consumption coefficients and optional extras (lining, valance, installation)
— responsive calculator layout for mobile devices
— lead submission with the calculation sent to email/CRM along with contact details
— simple way to edit prices without changing the code
— compatibility with the existing website (HTML/CSS/JS or CMS integration)
