Project description
I need an online calculator that helps a bride estimate the cost of altering or reworking a wedding dress before she books a fitting with a seamstress. Right now every atelier quotes a different price over the phone, and I want a tool on my website that gives a realistic estimate in a minute, based on the type of work, the fabric, how many fittings are needed and how urgent the order is.
The calculator should walk the customer through a short set of questions: what kind of alteration is needed (taking the dress in or out to fit the figure, shortening or lengthening the hem, rebuilding or lacing the corset bodice, replacing lining or boning), what the outer fabric and trim are made of (silk, satin, lace, tulle, guipure, beading), how many fitting sessions are expected, and whether the order is standard or rush. The final price should update live as answers change, and the customer should be able to leave a contact request straight from the result screen.
Requirements:
— Step-by-step form: alteration type, fabric, number of fittings, urgency
— Alteration types: figure fitting, hem length, corset/bodice rework, lining/boning replacement, combined works
— Fabric complexity levels: cotton/simple lining, satin/silk, lace/guipure/heavy beading
— Fitting count selector from one to four or more sessions
— Rush order surcharge with a visible percentage or fixed markup
— Live recalculation of the total without page reload
— Mobile-friendly layout, works on phones in a bridal shop
— Result screen with a callback/consultation request form
— Admin-editable price table for every parameter without touching code
