Project description
I run a small ceramics studio and I am looking for someone to build an online booking system for our pottery courses. Right now students call or message us to sign up, and I track session times and kiln space in a paper notebook, which is getting hard to manage as the studio grows. I want a booking page where a student can register for a course, choose the format — working on the wheel or hand-building — and pick a convenient time slot in the studio schedule.
The part that matters most is the kiln. Firing is already included in the course price, but the kiln has limited capacity and a firing cycle takes real time, so I cannot let people book classes without checking whether there will be room to fire their work afterward. When a student books a session, the system must automatically reserve a slot in the kiln queue for that piece, tied to the class date, so we never end up with more greenware than the kiln can hold in one cycle. If the kiln is fully booked for a given week, the calendar should show that and offer the next open slot instead.

— automatic kiln-slot reservation linked to each session
— admin calendar showing classes and kiln load together
