Project description
We run a small creative studio for children: drawing, clay modelling, and building or construction activities. Parents now book by calling or messaging us, and every week we lose time matching requests by hand — checking age, free room space, and whether enough similar-age kids are booked to form a small group. We want an online booking module that takes this manual work off our hands.
A parent should pick the activity, enter the child's age, and choose a time slot from our schedule. The system should then work on its own — placing the booking into the right small group by age, and never letting a slot exceed what the room can hold. Once a group is full, booking should close and offer the next available time. On the admin side we want a clear view of which groups are filling up, which are full, and which need a reminder nudge to parents.
Most bookings happen from a phone, so the interface should be mobile-friendly, with a simple confirmation and self-service cancel or reschedule.
What we need from a freelancer:
— slot-based booking flow: activity, age, time
— automatic grouping by age within each activity and slot
— hard cap on room capacity, waitlist or next-slot suggestion
— admin view of groups and remaining seats
— mobile-friendly UI plus basic notifications
