Project description
Our bicycle workshop receives requests through messengers and social media, but sorting out which mechanic is free, how long a repair might take, and confirming an appointment still happens manually every time. We want to automate the first stage of this process with a chatbot that guides a customer through a short conversation before a booking lands on our calendar.
The bot should ask what kind of bicycle the visitor rides — road, mountain, city, or another type — and what problem they are facing, whether it's a squeaky drivetrain, brake adjustment, wheel truing, a full seasonal tune-up, or something else. Based on those two answers, the bot should suggest an approximate diagnostic and repair time so the customer knows what to expect before they even walk in. Once the details are collected, it should show available time slots and let the person reserve a visit without any back-and-forth with staff.
We are open to building this on a platform we already use for communication, as long as it handles branching logic by bike type and problem category, stores appointment data we can review, and sends reminders before the visit.
Looking for:
— Chatbot builder experienced with conditional logic and appointment flows
— Comfort connecting the bot to a calendar or booking system
— Ability to write clear, friendly conversational prompts
— Willingness to test the flow with real bike-type and issue combinations
