Model railroad shop platform

Need a web application for a scale model railroad and hobby goods shop: locomotives, rolling stock, track, scenery materials, and electronics. The core is a catalog organized by scale and gauge (Z, N, TT, HO, OO, O, G), by prototype era (from era I with steam engines through modern era VI), by manufacturer, and by railroad. On top sits a compatibility engine: a customer picks coupling type, track system, DCC decoder standard, or wheel profile, and the shop shows only items that really fit together, so an N-scale owner doesn't land on an O-scale part. Limited-run items are the backbone of the trade, so a preorder module is needed with deposit collection, batch limits, waiting lists, and automatic alerts when a release slot opens or shipping dates shift. A model-building service section lets a customer describe table size, era, and budget and get a structured estimate for framework, wiring, and scenery; an estimator staff member runs the calculation in the admin. Repair intake logs the model, fault description, photos, and DCC address, then tracks the ticket through stages: received, diagnosed, quoted, repaired, returned. A club event calendar publishes operating sessions, swap meets, and open houses with member sign-ups. The loyalty program awards points for purchases, segments repeat customers by tier, and gives early access to preorders. Result: responsive storefront, admin panel, supplier price-list import, payment intake, order and repair emails, and clear staff documentation.
