Project description
I sell digital products and I am looking for a developer to build me a proper downloads store. My catalog is a mix of ebooks in PDF and EPUB, design templates, a few music tracks, and one small software tool. Right now I email files by hand after every sale, which does not scale and is not safe, because the same link gets forwarded around and I have no way to control it. I want a store where the customer pays and immediately receives access to their files, with everything handled automatically end to end.
The core of the job is secure delivery. After a successful payment the buyer should get a personal download page and time-limited links that expire after a set window or a set number of downloads, whichever comes first. Files must not sit in a public folder where anyone can guess the URL. For the software product I also need license keys generated and issued per order, so each buyer gets a unique key tied to their purchase. Please make it clear that this is about selling downloadable files, not shipping physical goods and not a monthly membership paywall. I need product pages, a cart or quick checkout, order history for the buyer, and an admin panel where I upload files, set prices, and see every download event.
I care about reliability and about not losing sales to broken links or confused customers, so the delivery emails and the download page should be clean and translated. Please tell me which stack you propose, how you protect the files, and how you handle refunds and re-downloads.
