About the service
I translate marketing and advertising materials: landing pages, social media posts, slogans, newsletters, product descriptions and ad copy. I do not work word for word; I adapt the message to the target market, its culture and the habits of its audience, because a literal translation of advertising almost always sounds foreign and fails to sell. I start with a brief: I study the product, the brand's tone of voice, the buyer persona and the action the text is meant to trigger. Then I carry over the meaning and the emotion so the call to action works in the new language — I keep the rhythm of headlines, rework idioms, choose wording that matches local expectations and the right level of formality. I pay separate attention to slogans and names so they carry no unfortunate associations and sound natural to a native speaker. I keep terminology consistent, watch line lengths in the interface and respect the character limits of advertising platforms. When useful, I offer several headline options and a short note on why a particular tone was chosen. I return finished text in a convenient format, proofread and formatted, with comments wherever a creative decision was required. I have experience in consumer goods, digital services and e-commerce. Get in touch — we will discuss volume, languages and deadlines, and I will suggest the best approach for your campaign.
