I Develop Wedding Budget Planning Apps With Category Splits

I design and build mobile applications specifically for wedding budget planning, made for couples who want to stop juggling spreadsheets and scattered notes while organizing one of the biggest financial projects of their lives. The app I develop lets a couple enter their total wedding budget once and then break it down into categories — venue, catering, outfits, photo and video, decor, entertainment — with each category getting its own allocation that the couple can adjust as plans evolve.

What makes this kind of app genuinely useful is the way it separates planned spending from actual spending. Every vendor gets a card of their own where the couple records the agreed price, any deposit or advance payment already made, and the remaining balance still owed. As payments go out, the app updates the category totals automatically, so at any moment the couple can see exactly how much of the overall budget is committed, how much is still free, and which categories are running over.

I build the whole thing from the ground up: budget entry and category setup, vendor cards with deposit and balance tracking, visual charts showing spending by category, push reminders before payment due dates, and export of the full budget as a shareable summary. The interface is kept calm and simple on purpose — wedding planning already carries enough stress. I can add shared access so both partners, and parents if they are contributing, see the same live numbers, plus multi-currency support for weddings with vendors in different countries.
