Project description
Our construction company wants an online calculator that lets visitors estimate the cost of demolition work before they ask for a quote. Right now every price question comes through a call, which slows down sales and forces our estimators to repeat the same manual calculation for every inquiry. We would like a tool that turns that routine work into something a visitor can do themselves in a couple of minutes, right on the page.
The calculator needs to let a visitor pick the type of structure being removed - walls, floors, plumbing and fixtures - enter the area in square meters, and watch the estimated price update as the inputs change. Debris removal has to be a separate toggle with its own rate per volume, since many clients haul debris away themselves and should not be charged for a service they did not ask for. The final number should be broken down by category rather than shown as one lump sum.
We are open to a lightweight JavaScript widget or a small standalone form backed by a server calculation, whichever is easier to maintain. Pricing coefficients per structure type and region should be editable later without touching the source code.
What we expect:
— input fields for area and structure type (walls, floors, plumbing)
— a separate toggle for debris removal with its own rate
— live price recalculation whenever a field changes
— clean, mobile-friendly layout matching our current site
— an editable pricing table for future rate adjustments
