Project description
We run a small sign-making company and want an online calculator on our website so visitors can estimate the cost of a sign or outdoor advertising structure before contacting us. Right now every price request goes through a manager by phone or messenger, which slows things down and loses leads who just want a rough number before they call.
The calculator should let a customer enter the width and height of the sign, choose the material (composite panel, acrylic, metal, PVC, or dimensional letters), select the illumination type (none, LED module backlighting, neon-style contour lighting, internal light box), and pick a mounting method — facade, roof, or free-standing. The tool should then calculate a final price that already factors in materials, cutting or milling, assembly, and on-site installation, and show a breakdown so the client understands what they are paying for.
We would like the pricing logic to be easy for us to edit ourselves later — rates per square meter for each material, a lighting surcharge, and a fixed or distance-based installation fee, stored somewhere we can update without touching the code. Mobile-friendly layout matters since most of our visitors arrive from search on their phones.
