Project description
I'm building a real estate portal focused on residential property: apartments and houses for sale and for rent. The concept is mapped out in wireframes and a rough spec, and now I need someone to turn that into a real, working website — one that home seekers would want to use, and that agents would trust enough to list on daily.
At the heart of the site is a searchable catalog of listings with photos and floor plans, paired with filters that narrow results the way apartment hunters think — price, rooms, total area, floor, renovation condition, and distance to metro. Results also need to appear on an interactive map, so browsing by neighborhood feels natural instead of scrolling an endless list. Agents need their own dashboard too: publish and edit listings, manage photos, see views and inquiries per listing, keep client contacts in one spot.
I'd like the catalog to hold up past a few thousand active listings, so performance and clean database design matter as much as the interface. I'm flexible on the stack but want someone who can propose a sensible one and explain the tradeoffs.
What's included:
— listing catalog with photo galleries and parameter filters
— interactive map search tied to coordinates
— realtor cabinet with listing management and basic analytics
— responsive mobile layout
— admin panel for moderating listings
