Project description
We operate a startup accelerator and incubator, and right now our entire portfolio lives in a tangle of spreadsheets, shared folders and email threads. Every intake season we collect dozens of applications, score them by hand, and try to remember which founder talked to which mentor. It no longer scales, and we are afraid of losing promising teams simply because a follow-up slipped through the cracks. We need a single web platform that carries a startup from the moment it applies, through selection into a cohort, all the way to demo day and post-program reporting to our investors and partners.

The first block is application intake and cohort selection. We want a public application form with configurable questions, file and pitch-deck uploads, and an internal review workflow where our team and guest reviewers can score submissions against a rubric, leave comments, and move candidates through stages such as screening, interview, and final committee. Selected startups are grouped into a cohort with its own timeline. The second block is mentor matching: a directory of mentors with their expertise, availability and capacity, plus a way to match them to startups, request and confirm sessions, and keep a history of every meeting and the notes that came out of it.

The third block is the operational heart of the program: milestones and KPI tracking per startup. Each team should have its own dashboard with milestones, deadlines and status, and a set of metrics we define, such as revenue, active users, runway or hiring, that founders update on a regular cadence. On top of that we need demo-day scheduling with slots, judges and a public agenda, plus reporting that rolls individual startups up into a portfolio view for stakeholders. Role-based access is essential, since founders, mentors, program managers and investors must each see only what concerns them.

— Application intake with custom forms, uploads and a scoring rubric
— Cohort selection workflow with review stages and committee voting
— Mentor directory, matching, session requests and meeting notes
— Per-startup milestones, deadlines and configurable KPI dashboards
— Demo-day scheduling and stakeholder portfolio reporting with roles
