I specialize in installing network video surveillance systems for private houses and townhouses on a turnkey basis — not just a single camera at the door on Wi-Fi, but a well-thought-out system that actually covers all approaches to the house: entrance, backyard, garage, corridors inside.

Let me clarify the difference right away, because it's often confused: I install a video surveillance system — cameras, a video recorder (NVR) and an application for viewing. This is NOT a security alarm system: I do not install door and window opening sensors, motion sensors with a siren and do not connect an emergency button with a rapid response team. If you really need an anti-burglary alarm system — that's a different task and different equipment, I'll honestly tell you what's right for you, and sometimes it makes sense to install both systems together.

I start the work with a site inspection: I mark blind spots, entrances, gates, garage and places that concern you personally, after which I suggest the number of cameras and a placement plan — before I even pick up a drill. Usually this is 4-12 cameras: outdoor — moisture-proof, with night vision and motion-activated lighting, indoor — compact dome cameras for a hallway, nursery or office. I connect each camera directly to the recorder with a cable, not through Wi-Fi repeaters: a camera that disconnects from the network at a critical moment is worse than its absence.

I set up the recorder for continuous recording and motion-triggered recording, reasonable storage time on disk, recognition of people and vehicles — so you don't have to rewatch hours of footage with a swaying branch. I install an application on your phone (and a second family member's phone if desired), configure push notifications so they're actually useful rather than annoying, and show you how to open live view and export a clip for police or insurance.

I lay the cable neatly — through the attic, under the soffit, in conduit where moisture protection is needed, with no wires stretched across the driveway or hanging from the gutter. On site I check the viewing angle and night vision range of each camera, label all wires at the recorder, so the next visit (mine or another technician's) doesn't turn into a guessing game with cables.

The cost includes: a written camera placement plan, all fasteners, cable laying and termination, recorder and router setup, remote access configuration, training upon completion of installation and 90 days of free service visits for angle adjustments, if once living with the system you want to tweak something. I work with popular NVR-based platforms, can integrate into an existing router or switch.
