I make leather key chains entirely by hand — from a single gift item to a small batch for a wedding, corporate gift, or for sale in your store. Each product starts with cutting a template from natural vegetable-tanned leather: this material darkens over time and becomes softer, rather than cracking after a month of use.
The main thing in this service is personalization. I hand-stamp initials, short names, dates, coordinates, or a small icon with letter stamps, and I also do simple embossing with patterns — frames, geometric ornaments, or a small monogram plate secured with a rivet. If you send me a logo or simple line drawing, I'll adapt it for embossing or cut it with a laser — depending on what type you need.
Hardware is just as important as leather. I use solid brass rings and rivets, nickel, or with antique plating — corrosion-resistant, so the key chain will actually be worn on your key ring rather than sitting in a drawer. I sand, polish, and treat the edges with paint or wax along the cut, so the leather doesn't fray and feels pleasant to the touch.
For one key chain, I usually need one or two reference photos or a short brief — leather color, text for embossing, ring type — and I prepare the product in a few days. For gift orders and small batches — souvenirs for wedding witnesses, team gifts, product sets — I calculate the price per unit with a discount from five and from twenty items, while each remains the same in size, embossing placement, and color, although the finishing touch on each is unique, done by hand.
Before shipping, I photograph the finished product against a neutral background and am always ready to send a photo of the stamped text for approval before final assembly — to exclude the risk of a typo in the finished gift. Rush orders for a specific date are possible — just indicate the deadline in your message, and I'll honestly tell you if it's feasible to meet it.
