About the service
I set up booking systems for makeup artists and stylists who visit clients for weddings, photo shoots, and celebrations. Instead of exchanging messages in three different messengers, the client fills out one form: specifies the event date, the address to visit, and describes the desired look — bridal, evening, or everyday makeup with styling.
The key difference from a regular salon booking form is the travel logic. A makeup artist working on location doesn't sit in one chair all day: travel between appointments is necessary, sometimes with equipment and during rush hour. I build travel time calculation between already confirmed bookings for one day into the form, so the artist doesn't end up unable to arrive on time, and the client doesn't get a message 'sorry, running late' an hour before the ceremony.
The setup includes the booking form itself with date, address, and desired look fields, an admin panel where the artist sees the entire day — with addresses and travel time buffer between visits — and automatic confirmation to the client after the slot is agreed upon. If needed, I add a short questionnaire: hair length, skin type, style references.
