Project description
I manage a small print shop and we still calculate every quote by hand, which slows down our sales process and scares off first-time clients who want an instant number before committing. I'm looking for someone to build a web-based calculator that visitors can use directly on the site to configure a print job and watch the price update as they change parameters.
The tool needs to cover our three most requested products: business cards, flyers and banners. For each one the customer should choose the print run, the format, the paper type, and finishing options like lamination or double-sided printing. The price should recalculate instantly with every change, without reloading the page, and match our real pricing rules, including bulk discounts for larger runs.
Once happy with the configuration, the customer should submit a quick request straight from the calculator, with the chosen parameters and price attached, so managers can follow up without repeating questions. I want a simple, mobile-friendly interface, and pricing logic that's easy for us to update later.
What I expect from the finished work:
— product selection with quantity, format and paper or material options
— instant, accurate price recalculation on every change
— a request form that captures the configuration and sends it to our team
— clean, mobile-friendly design matching a simple business site
— pricing rules that are easy to edit without touching the whole codebase
