Project description
Our online store currently receives orders through the website, but every order still has to be entered into the accounting system by hand. This slows down order processing, creates typos and mismatched totals, and makes it hard to trust the numbers in monthly reports. We are looking for a freelancer who can build a reliable bridge between the store and the accounting system so that this manual step disappears completely.
The main goal is two-way data exchange: new orders, customer details and payment status should move from the store into the accounting system automatically and within minutes, while stock quantities updated in the accounting or warehouse system should be reflected back on the store website without anyone touching a spreadsheet. If an item runs out, the store should show it as unavailable almost immediately, and if a return or cancellation happens on either side, both systems need to stay consistent.
We don't need anything exotic — a working, well-tested connector that can run unattended for months is more valuable to us than a flashy interface. Please plan for error handling: if a transfer fails, it should be logged and retried, not silently lost. We are open to different technical approaches (scheduled jobs, webhooks, a small middleware service) as long as the result is stable and easy for our staff to monitor.
