About the service
I offer a mobile service for sealing RV, camper, and trailer roofs with leak elimination — I come to your yard, storage lot, or campground with everything needed to restore your roof's waterproofing. Roofing membrane suffers greatly from sun, hail, and years of temperature swings, and the moment a seam or ventilation collar starts cracking, water penetrates the ceiling and walls long before visible stains appear inside. I begin each visit with a complete roof inspection: checking all seams, skylights, vent stacks, antenna base, and edge trim, looking for soft spots, peeling sealant, and early signs of membrane aging to catch problems before the plywood substrate is completely soaked through.
After inspection, I explain in detail what I've found, show photos of problem areas, and explain the recommended repair option before work begins. Typical tasks include removing old cracked sealant from lap seams and replacing it with fresh elastic material suited to your roof type, sealing vent collars and skylight frames, and applying full liquid roof coating where the membrane has become chalky, porous, or sun-damaged. I work with rubber, fiberglass, and metal roofs, selecting materials for the specific substrate rather than using one universal sealant for everything.
With active leaks, I trace the water path from the ceiling stain or softened panel inside the cabin to the actual entry point on the roof — it's often off to the side from the visible damage, sometimes at a considerable distance. This step matters: if you seal the wrong spot, the same leak returns next season. Once I identify the source, I carefully clean and prepare the area — old sealant, dirt, and oxidized coating must be completely removed, since new material doesn't hold long on poorly prepared surfaces.
All work is performed outside on your RV roof, so interior cabin access isn't needed, and space required is only what the vehicle itself occupies. I bring ladders, safety equipment, cleaning agents, and a full set of roof sealants and coatings. Standard sealing usually takes one visit, and coating application sometimes requires a short pause for drying between coats. I photograph the roof before and after to give you clear documentation of condition and completed repair, and I'm happy to give simple maintenance tips so the new sealant lasts as long as possible. I schedule visits to fit your travel plans and am ready to work at home, at a storage lot, or on campground property with owner permission.
